Behind the counter

Rolled, filled and baked in the back.

The dough is folded for the pastelitos, the croquetas are rolled and breaded by hand, and the Cuban bread goes in long and comes out crackling. What sits in the case is made in the kitchen right behind it.

Cakes are the other half of the work: birthdays, baby showers, quinces and office parties, each one built to order with the flavor, the size and the name you ask for.

  • Pastelitos and croquetas made in the back
  • Cakes built to order, name included
  • Coffee at the walk-up window
  • Party trays when you call ahead

At the counter

Questions we hear at the counter.

How far ahead should I order a cake?

A few days ahead is best for most cakes, and a little more for tiered or decorated ones. Call and we will check the calendar with you.

Can I order pastelitos and croquetas for a party?

Yes. Call ahead with how many you need and when you will pick them up, so the trays come out of the oven close to when you arrive.

Can you put a name or a message on the cake?

Yes. Tell us the name and the occasion when you order, and it is piped on before pickup.

Do I have to come inside for coffee?

No. The ventanita is at the front of the shop, so you can get a cafecito or a colada right from the sidewalk.
