Training

Pick your fight with the barbell.

Group Strength & HIIT Classes

60+ coached classes a week — barbell strength cycles in the morning, conditioning and HIIT at lunch and after work. Capped at 14 athletes so the coach sees every rep you take.

Open Gym

Twelve racks, calibrated plates, specialty bars, sleds, and a 40-yard turf lane — open from 5am on your own programming or ours. Never wait for a squat rack again.

Personal Training

One-on-one blocks with a CSCS coach: movement assessment first, then a program built around your goal — first pull-up, 400lb deadlift, or pain-free stairs. $75–$95 per session in packs.

Nutrition Coaching

No detox teas, no 1,200-calorie martyrdom. Monthly check-ins, habit-based targets, and macros that survive a Phoenix summer barbecue — $99/month added to any membership.

Youth Athlete Program

Speed, strength, and lifting mechanics for ages 12–17, coached by staff with collegiate S&C experience. Small groups, long-term development — not a bootcamp for kids.

Drop-Ins & Day Passes

Traveling through Phoenix or gym-curious? $25 day pass, $60 for a week — class access included. Punch cards of ten visits run $180 and never expire.

Getting Started

From the front door to your first PR.

  1. 1

    Claim the free week

Sign up online, pick your first class, and show up. Seven days of unlimited classes and open gym — no card on file, no awkward exit interview if it’s not for you.

  2. 2

    Get assessed, not guessed

A coach runs you through a 30-minute movement assessment during week one: mobility, strength baseline, injury history. You leave knowing exactly where to start.

  3. 3

    Pick your lane

Classes, open gym, or both — $89 to $159 a month, laid out on one page. Add personal training or nutrition coaching only if your goal actually needs it.

  4. 4

    Train, track, PR

Your lifts live in our app, your coaches watch the trends, and testing weeks every 12 weeks prove it’s working. First deadlift PR usually lands inside two months.

The Gym

A coaching staff, not a card-swipe machine.

Forge opened in 2019 because Phoenix had plenty of places to rent a treadmill and almost none where a certified coach watched your squat. Every coach on our floor holds a CSCS or NASM certification, and most have competed — powerlifting, track, college football. When we cue your deadlift, it’s not from a weekend course.

Seven years in, the model hasn’t changed: memberships from $89 to $159 a month, month to month, cancel anytime with a conversation instead of a certified letter. We’d rather earn your next month than lock you into twelve. That’s also why your first week is free — the coaching sells itself or it doesn’t.

  • Every coach CSCS or NASM certified — no weekend-cert instructors
  • Month-to-month $89–$159, cancel with a conversation
  • Free movement assessment in your first week
  • Community events monthly: in-house comps, Saturday hikes, cookouts
From the Floor

The proof lifts heavier than the pitch.

“I came in on the free week fully expecting a sales ambush. Instead a coach fixed my squat in the first session and nobody asked for my card until I asked to join. Deadlift went from 185 to 315 in a year.”
Reuben C. Arcadia · member since 2024
“The 5:30am class is my kind of cult. Fourteen people max, the coach knows my cranky shoulder, and they scale everything without making it feel like the kids’ table. I’ve outlasted three globo-gym memberships here.”
Sloane V. Tempe · 5:30am class regular
“My 15-year-old does the youth program twice a week. His sprint times dropped, his coaches at school noticed, and more importantly he learned to lift with a bar path I don’t wince at. Worth every penny.”
Dominic A. Ahwatukee · youth program parent
Questions

Straight answers, no sales script.

What does membership cost?

Open gym only is $89/month, unlimited classes $139, and the All-Access (classes + open gym + testing weeks) is $159. Month to month, no initiation fee, no contract. Students and first responders take $15 off any tier.

Is the first week really free?

Yes — seven days, unlimited classes and open gym, movement assessment included. No card on file. About two-thirds of free-week visitors join; the rest at least leave with a better squat.

I have never touched a barbell. Will I drown?

No. Every class has scaled and beginner tracks, and your first session starts with the coach learning your history — not with a workout designed to wreck you. Most of our strongest members started exactly here.

What does personal training cost?

Sessions run $95 solo or $75 each in ten-packs, always with a CSCS or NASM coach. Most members do classes plus one PT session a week; some do PT only. The assessment tells you what your goal actually requires.

How do I cancel if life happens?

Tell your coach or email us by the 25th and your membership ends that month — no certified mail, no 60-day notice, no exit fee. Freezes for injury, travel, or deployment are free and unlimited.

Your free week starts when you do.

Tell us your goal and your schedule — a coach will text you back today with the right first class and your assessment slot. Seven days on us; the barbell handles the rest.
