Trial run, day-of styling, and a touch-up kit that goes home with you — in the salon or on location across metro Atlanta. Bridal parties book one stylist per three heads so nobody waits in a robe.
The Golden Hour membership: one blowout a month plus 10% off color and retail for $59/month, no contract. Four-packs of blowouts run $180 and never expire.
Golden Hour opened in 2017 with four chairs and one policy that hasn’t budged: no color service starts without a consultation. Photos out, history discussed, strand test done — because a correction costs you triple what honesty costs us. Nine years later that policy is still why half our new clients arrive: fixing a box-dye emergency or a balayage that went orange somewhere else.
Our fourteen stylists ladder from New Talent to Master, and the price list says exactly what each level charges — $65 to $180 depending on whose chair you’re in, posted at the front desk and online. You choose the stylist and the budget; nobody gets upsold mid-foil.
Grab any open slot online — color services start with a free 15-minute consult, virtual or in-chair, before we put you on the books for the full service.
Your stylist maps what your hair can do in one visit versus three, does a strand test if lightening is involved, and quotes the exact price for their level before anything is mixed.
The appointment is booked with the time it actually takes — no double-booked chairs, no processing in the lobby. Espresso, sparkling water, and a charger at every station.
You go home with a written color record, product doses that fit your routine, and a 10-day adjustment window: if the tone shifts, we fine-tune it free.
“I came in with box-dye black and a screenshot of honey balayage. My colorist told me the truth — two sessions, not one — and quoted both upfront. Zero breakage, and the color looks like I was born lucky.”
“The membership is the best $59 I spend each month. Standing Friday blowout, my stylist remembers my daughter’s name and my cowlick, and the 10% off retail basically pays for itself.”
“They styled me and five bridesmaids on location in Brookhaven. Three stylists, everyone done early, and my updo outlasted a June wedding, a second line, and an airport run the next morning.”
Every stylist sits at a level — New Talent, Stylist, Senior, or Master — set by training hours and demand. A women’s cut runs $65 with New Talent and up to $110 with a Master; balayage spans $160–$180. The full grid is posted online and at the desk, so you pick the price before you pick the chair.
Because your hair history decides what’s possible. Previous box dye, henna, or old highlights all change the chemistry, and a 15-minute consult with a strand test is how we plan a result instead of guessing at one. It’s free, and it can be virtual.
Tell us within 10 days and the adjustment is free with the same stylist. Color can settle differently once you wash and style at home — a gloss or toner tweak is normal, not a failure, and we’d rather fix it than lose you.
Senior and Master stylists book 2–3 weeks ahead, New Talent often has same-week openings, and October-through-December Saturdays go a month out. Bridal work books 3–6 months ahead — trial included.
Life happens — just give us 24 hours so the chair doesn’t sit empty. Inside 24 hours we charge 50% of the booked service; no-shows are charged in full. Two freebies a year for members, because we know Atlanta traffic is real.
Book online in under a minute, or tell us what your hair’s been through and the look you’re after — we’ll match you with the right stylist and level before you commit.
