ECU Tuning & Flash
Custom street calibrations via HP Tuners and COBB — datalogged, revised, and verified on the dyno. E85 and flex-fuel maps where the platform supports it.
Every tune leaves with before/after dyno graphs in your hand — real, repeatable numbers from our in-house dyno, with insured work and emissions-legal calibration options stated up front.

Three-pull baseline sessions with printed power and torque graphs, air/fuel traces included — know your real numbers before spending a dollar on parts.
Intakes, exhausts, downpipes, and intercoolers installed with torque specs documented — then tuned so the parts actually earn their keep.
Turbo and supercharger packages built to a target number and a fuel plan — supporting mods first, dyno-verified, never “send it and hope”.
Coilovers, sway bars, corner balancing, and alignment tailored to your tires and your track — street-compliant or full race spec.
Brakes, fluids, wheel bearings, and safety gear checked against your sanctioning body’s tech sheet — pass tech at the gate, not luck.
Three baseline pulls, a health check, and a sit-down: target power, fuel choice, budget, and which route stays emissions-legal.
Parts installed with documented torque specs, then street and dyno datalogging until the map is safe, smooth, and repeatable.
Final pulls on the same dyno, printed before/after graphs, datalogs on a USB stick, and a 30-day re-flash window included.
Apex opened in 2013 next to Eastern Market with one dyno and a rule the shop still runs on: nobody pays for horsepower they can’t see. Every tune ends with a printed before/after graph off our in-house dyno — same car, same day, same correction factor.
We’re insured for customer vehicles, we tell you plainly which calibrations are emissions-legal and which are off-road only (California customers: CARB-compliant parts only on street cars), and we hedge our numbers honestly — results vary by platform, fuel, and supporting mods, and we’ll show you the spread before you commit.
“Stage 2 on my Mustang GT: they quoted 40–55 whp depending on fuel, and the printed graphs showed +48 on 93 octane. First shop that ever under-promised me.”
“My WRX came in with a sketchy mail-order tune pulling timing everywhere. Apex baselined it, showed me the logs, and rebuilt the map. Car is faster and finally boring to datalog — in the best way.”
“Pre-track inspection before my first Gingerman weekend found a failing wheel bearing that would have ended the day — or worse. Passed tech, ran every session, hooked forever.”
A three-pull baseline with printed graphs and air/fuel traces is $150. Tuning sessions include unlimited pulls within your booked slot. Dyno-day group rates run $75 per car with a 10-car minimum.
Most street calibrations run $500–$750 depending on platform and fuel options; flex-fuel and multi-map setups run $850–$1,100. All include dyno verification, datalogs, and a 30-day re-flash window.
Honest answer: it depends on platform and fuel. Typical turbo four-cylinders see 30–60 whp from Stage 1 on 93 octane; Stage 2 with a downpipe pushes further. We quote a hedged range up front and the dyno tells the truth at pickup — results vary.
We offer emissions-legal calibrations that keep all monitors and hardware intact, and we label anything off-road-only in writing before work starts. For California-registered vehicles we fit CARB-exempt (EO-numbered) parts only on street cars.
A calibration can affect a factory powertrain warranty — we say so plainly, not in fine print. As for the engine: our maps are datalogged and dyno-verified with conservative knock margins, and we won’t chase a number your fuel system can’t safely support.
Tell us the car, the mods, and the goal — we’ll reply with a slot, a hedged power estimate, and a straight answer on the emissions question.
